INQUIRIES AND FAQ's
1) Do the free salsa lessons continue during the weeks of the contest?
Yes, free lessons begin at 9pm sharp!
2) Will there still be a live band each week?
Yes, there will be a live Latin band each week during the preliminaries but there will not be a live band on the semi-final nights and during the finals.
3) Is the competition open to the public?
Yes, everyone is welcome to come and watch the competition (or enter!).
4) What time will the competition take place each week?
The preliminary rounds of the competition will be held each week between 11pm and 11:30pm. The semi-finals and finals will take place each night between 11pm and 12am.
5) Do we need to choreograph a routine for the preliminary round or for the semi-final round?
No, for the preliminaries and for the semi-finals, couples will be dancing to a song chosen by the DJ so no routine is necessary!
6) Do we need to wear costumes?
Costumes are not needed for the preliminary round. Costumes are encouraged for the semi-final round and definitely the couples should be in costume for the finals. No jeans please during the semi-finals or finals.
7) How do I buy tickets for the finals?
Due to the limited capacity of the nightclub it is best to buy your tickets in advance for the finals. Tickets can be bought at Six Degrees 416.486.9666 or at Steps Dance Studio 416.656.7837.
